"Wheels for Freedom' is an independent registered charity that is dedicated to giving freedom of movement to those with a walking difficulty. We operate over 100 power-chairs and scooters plus twenty hand-propelled wheelchairs that are available on a daily basis.  Yearly we provide day or longer-term loans to well over 500 members and 1000 day visitors. We have a highly successful Mobile Division that provides mobility for our members at many popular public events and places of interest.

Although we receive grants in aid from the Borough of Poole and other Local Authorities whose areas we serve, we are an independent Charity that has to raise much of its funds from donations and fund-raising events.

We are continually developing our operations to improve the quality of life for Dorset’s disabled community by providing the mobility they need.
